Originating from the John Hopkins University in the united states, the team of scientists has recently revealed their plans for the strategy used to mass-produce monolayer graphene-based reversible self-folding structures. These structures are useful due to their electronic and physical characteristics and can be used in a number of applications.
They created a proof of concept to prove their achievements, including the creation of functioning devices in the forms of rings, flowers, and even origami birds. This technology is new and has yet to be easily rolled out onto the larger scale, but this method has the possibility to bring it into a larger market than previously.
