Researchers at the Technical University Munich have recently developed a highly efficient super capacitator that is based on a sustainable graphene hybrid material made from metal-organic frameworks and graphenic acid. These materials combined create a positive electrode for supercapacitors, giving them the energy density of hydride batteries.
First author Jayaramulu Kolleboyina described it’s high-performance capabilities as being fully accredited to the combination of the metal-organic framework and graphenic acid.
