Directa Plus has received an Eu grant of €100,000 for their Inno4Cov-19, which is aiming for the goal of developing G+ face masks and air filtration systems. This grant is planned to be used for furthering their research on graphene-enhanced filters which will allow for better, more effective filtration methods.
Directa Plus chief executive Giulio Cesareo stated that much work has been done already with discovering the abilities of graphene to enhance face masks, and this grant will “… allow us to invest further and faster in improving the properties of our face masks, allow us to supply them into clinical settings, and improve the environmental sustainability of their production.”
