India-based startup Log 9 has recently announced its development of ultra-fast battery charging technology. Being reportedly 5x more powerful than other batteries, and 5x safer, it is estimated to give a range of 70 km to two-wheeled EVs and 60-80 km for three-wheel EVs. Boasting 15 minute charge times in vehicles, these Graphene-enhanced batteries are sure to be popular alternatives to lithium-ion ones.
In conjunction with Amazon, Vogo, Shadowfax, and more, over 3000 of these batteries are set to be deployed in electro vehicles in march 2022. The deployment is planned to expand into the entirety of India, and with commercial pilots already started. This technology is rapidly becoming an actuality, with EVs worldwide being powered by graphene-enhanced batteries.
