Penn State researchers have developed graphene-based encrypted electronic keys, which outperform other methods of electronic encryption.
The reasoning behind this development is based on the introduction of key-cracking AI, which can learn how to effectively and quickly decrypt hardware security devices. The new Physically Unclonable Function keys, however, are currently impossible to clone using AI.
For more information about the keys, see this article by Graphene Info.
