Researchers from the Zhejiang University, Monash University, as well as Xi’an Jiaotong University have developed a method of binding strands of graphene oxide together.
This technique consists of self-assembly as well as spontaneous separation, which creates graphene-oxide-based yarn. The yarn is then dipped in a solvent solution, which creates a single, cordlike yarn. The process can also be reversed by dipping the cord into a different solution.
