Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) has recently announced its support towards the Queensland University of Technologies’ Centre for Biomedical Technologies (CBT) project working towards the development and pilot of Piezo-Supercapacitors.

A Piezo-Supercapacitor is a novel power unit that can harvest human body motions, and convert that energy into electricity which it can then store. This technology has the potential to be utilized in the development of self-powered medical implants.

GMG will be supplying CBT with expertise and graphene, in order to help develop this new, possibly revolutionary technology.
