G6 Materials, which is a branch-off from founder company Graphene Labs, has installed a new pilot-scale graphene oxide reactor. As of November 26, 2021, they’ve used it successfully for the first time and can now be used for further operation.

This reactor produces the graphene oxide that the company uses to manufacture products. Thanks to this new addition to their Ronkonkoma facility in New York, their production has been increased by over 5 times its previous rate. This increase in productivity can be used to create things like air purifiers and graphene-enhanced resins and composites, and it can even be used to further graphene oxide research.
